The Adjusting Process

Structured, professional claims handling

A clear process supports prompt contact, thorough investigation, accurate documentation, and timely reporting from assignment through completion.

Assignment Received

We review the assignment instructions, identify time-sensitive issues, confirm the requested scope, and acknowledge receipt.

Contact & Scheduling

Appropriate parties are contacted, inspection or interview arrangements are made, and initial information is gathered.

Field Investigation

Depending on the assignment, work may include scene or property inspections, photographs, measurements, statements, witness interviews, diagrams, and collection of supporting documentation.

Evaluation

The gathered information is reviewed to document the cause and circumstances of loss, scope of damage, liability facts, evidence, and other issues identified in the client’s instructions.

Reporting

Reports are prepared in accordance with client guidelines and may include a narrative summary, photographs, diagrams, statements, estimates when requested, supporting documents, and recommendations.
